Our school values are at the core of everything we do. They underpin our teaching and learning, and provide an environment which prepares our pupils as confident, happy citizens.

God calls us to be
'We Work, We Care, We Pray, We Share'
We Work
As a Primary school, the children's education is our core purpose. We must ensure that all children in our care have every single opportunity made available to them so that they can fulfil their potential. It is important to us that children at St Joseph's work hard. St Joseph the Worker is our Patron Saint and we value dearly the times when we must struggle to succeed.
We Care
The children at St Joseph's understand that they must always be kind. As a Catholic School it is incumbent upon us to show God's love to whoever we meet, whether they are people from within our own school community or those from further afield. We believe that each and every person is made in the image of Christ and should be treated with dignity, respect and love. Our children will be educated in a school where we think about others before ourselves...the poor at Christmas...refugees from Syria and Afghanistan or the lonely and needy within our own community.
We Pray
In our Catholic Community we come together to pray. Regular prayer strengthens our relationship with God. Prayer is not exclusive to those who are baptised Catholic. Catholic means universal; Our Lord came for everyone and as such our whole school community regularly comes together, those who are Catholic and those who are not, to pray.
We Share
We share our time, our things and our prayers...
